Grand Master Mitchell, Founder

​

Grand Master Mitchell IX Dan became involved in Taekwon-Do in the 1970's, he was a former coordinator of the business of the School of Taekwon-Do in the city of Oxford. 

 

Grand Master Mitchell is committed to fulfilling his duties and responsibilities.

To achieve these goals, his philosophy has been to remain focused, open and available for consultation and discussion when promoting the art of Taekwon-do and Martial Arts. He frequently travels the world officiating at international events and attending technical seminars, furthering his knowledge to share with his students in the United Kingdom. Still actively teaching in Oxford.

Grand Master Mitchell IX profile: 

• Honorary President of Grenada Taekwon-do Academy;

• ​Senior Vice President of Caribbean Taekwon-Do Federation;

• Vice President of Pan Am Taekwon-Do Council;

• Founder member of the African Taekwon-Do Association;

• Former Executive Board Member of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).

 

Grand Master Mitchell founded United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Initiative in 2018.
